TACOMA – The Sedro-Woolley Cubs capped a dominating day during which they posted four straight shutouts with an impressive 10-0 victory over Bainbridge Island in the 3A state softball championship game.

All four Sedro-Woolley wins were webcast live on SkagitRadio.com, with Jon Jensen providing play-by-play of the first two games and Mike Leeper calling the semi finals and state championship game. Jensen had a prior sports broadcasting commitment that prevented him from calling the two evening games and we thank Leeper for his clutch performance that allowed us to webcast the night games.

SEDRO-WOOLLEY -  Maddie Lynch-Crumrine was dominating against the Meadowdale Mavericks Wednesday in round one of the District One 3A Fastpitch Tournament, striking out 15 and allowing only two hits as Sedro-Woolley capitalized on a number of defensive lapses in a 5-0 victory.

Mavericks pitcher Kylie Studioso was tough to hit as well but was done in by a number of throwing errors that extended rallies and allowed four of the Cubs runs to score.
