Burlington-Edison girls top Sedro-Woolley 86-51

by Wade Tonkin on February 7, 2009

BURLINGTON – Sedro-Woolley kept the game close in the first half, but a hot run at the start of the 3rd quarter stretched the Tiger’s lead and got them on the path to an 86-51 win that saw the Burlington bench get extensive playing time.

The Tigers executed their offense with devastating efficiency to set up easy inside baskets and open 3’s and dominated on the boards as well.  Cub’s scoring leader Cheyenne Best was cold from outside and earned the majority of her points from the free throw line.
