Jackson defeats Cascade to win Wesco 4A South

EVERETT – The undefeated (9-0, 6-0) Jackson Timberwolves took control early and held on in garbage time for a 28-18 win over Wesco South rival Cascade Bruins, of Everett, (6-3,3-3) on Friday night.

Jackson advances into the State 4A playoffs with the win and will face the KingCo #4  next week in round one at Everett Memorial Stadium.    The Cascade Bruins were knocked out of playoff contention with the loss.

Jackson:
QB Andy Gay – 12 for 17, 192 yards, 2 TDs throwing, 1 TD rushing
RB Traishawn Patrick – 13 carries, 48 yards, 1 TD, 2 catches for 33 yards
WR Taylor Mead – 1 catch, 45 yards, 1 TD
TE Trevor Hegeberg – 4 catches, 53 yards, 1 TD
Cascade:
QB Lex Duncan – 5 for 10, 157 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
RB Aaron Miller – 19 carries, 105 yards, 1 TD
